All these dogs/birds are up for adoption. Our adoption process is as follows:
- You must submit a completed adoption application along with a $5.oo application donation non refundable. If you wish for a certain dog/bird to be held during the process then we require a $50.00 non refundable deposit on that dog/bird which is deducted from the final donation.
- Your application is reviewed and refrences called. Upon completion of the approval we will contact you with aditional questions.
- A home visit and play date are scheduled. This is a in person visit where all family members must be present. We conduct a safety check and make sure all animals get along. This visit is app 1 hr. If all goes well then the adoption is final the next day. You must bring a collar and leash when picking up your dog/cage for bird.
- ****These steps may be modified to allow for geographical and scheduling variables.*********
- Remeber that the people doing the home visits are volunteers and you need to be home when they arrive. They will only wait 15 min for you. If you are not home they will bring the dog/bird back and your adoption is null. There are no refunds as it is tax deductable.
Dogs are $150.00 for males and $175.00 for females. They are spay/neutered before adoption, shots, microchipped, wormed
